The ten pieces for string trio were written in the last few years on various occasions, mostly in 2016. The last piece “getting” was composed in 2017 and was given its premiere in the Atelier Mary Baumeister. Inspired by the fascination with polyphonic music 9 fughettos and a waltz were written in a random sequence.
This edition is dedicated to the memory of the English politician Jo Cox and the German student Tuğçe Albayrak. Both died far too early and by human hand - incomprehension and deep sadness.
