In November 2004 I started with the publishing of sheet music. The target was to publish cello and cello ensemble music in high quality. Each edition contains parts and score - the music pieces with piano and the arrangements of string quintet viola parts for 2nd cello have no extra score. The music is printed on high quality paper. Special care is taken with the layout for convenient page turning. You can buy all editions directly at Musikverlag Hauke Hack. When sending the music by post, the costs of postage (depending on destination) will be added.

Beside arrangements for cello ensemble you can find original compositions by Jo Quail, Stephen Scotchmer, Granville Walker, Bernhard Hoelscher, Yôko Nakamura, Ruediger Clauss, Martin Baerenz, Frank Zabel, Werner Lemberg, Mechthild van der Linde, Armin Behr, Martin Heider, Martin Burkhardt, Dirk Wietheger and Hauke Hack.
Choosing pieces of music for publishing is based on the different artistic and teaching activities of the publisher. For example the idea of arranging the cello quartets of Georg Goltermann for four equal parts was born after playing the originals with professional cellists. To get a rather interesting part in the original without queue jumping, cunning cellists directly choose the second part. So they avoid the boring 3rd or 4th part. With the new arrangement it is fun for all four cellists forcing them to listen, how the melody switches between the parts and who is playing the melody and who is playing the accompaniment. You can look at excerpts of all editions and listen to some.
