About the composition
Astor Piazzolla: Fuga Y Misterio arranged by Tobias Sykora, score (27 pages) and 12 parts.
The gem "Fuga Y Misterio" from Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Ferrer's opera "Maria de Buenos Aires" is now available as sheet music for 12 cellos, just in time for the composer's 100th birthday. A unique feature of this arrangement is the variable instrumentation for 8 or 12 players. There are some bracketed notes that are only to be played as double stops in the octet version. Great care has been taken to ensure ease of performance. A wonderful piece for advanced cellists.
