About the composition

The elegy "Mirror in the Mirror" was reworked in 2005 by the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra's Armin Behr (viola) from a 1998 viola version especially for the premiere project "frisch verfugt." In the slow 5/4 time signature, the voices reflect and entwine in a pleasantly transparent atonality.
